ZelfJaarrekening.nl is a tool, not an accountant. This page explains what that means in practice.
1. No accounting or tax advice
The tool helps you prepare annual accounts and calculates amounts for you. We do not provide an accountant’s statement, a compilation or review report, and no tax or legal advice. The texts in the tool are general standard texts with source references; whether they are complete and correct in your situation, we cannot assess.
2. You remain responsible yourself
- For the accuracy and completeness of the data you enter and of the annual accounts that follow from it.
- For adopting and signing the annual accounts on time.
- For filing with KVK within the statutory periods, if your legal form requires it.
- For checking the final documents before you use or file them.
When you complete the wizard you confirm that you understand this and that ZelfJaarrekening.nl is not responsible for errors or omissions in the annual accounts.
3. No guarantee of outcome
We cannot guarantee that KVK, the Belastingdienst (Dutch Tax and Customs Administration) or another body will accept your documents without further ado, or that a particular tax outcome will be achieved. Legislation and rates can change; the tool works with the data and rates built in at the time of use.
4. Liability
Our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the financial year concerned, and in any event to the maximum permitted by law. For the full arrangement see article 7 of the terms and conditions.
5. Doubts?
Then have the annual accounts checked by an accountant or tax adviser before you file. If you email us with a question, we help you with how the tool works — not with the tax assessment of your situation.
