Terms and conditions

This is a translation. The Dutch version is binding.

These terms and conditions apply to the use of ZelfJaarrekening.nl, an online tool that lets you prepare annual accounts yourself.

1. Who we are

ZelfJaarrekening.nl is a trade name of Woodlands Administration, sole trader (eenmanszaak), based in Bloemendaal. In these terms and conditions we refer to ourselves as “we” or “ZelfJaarrekening.nl” and to you as “user”. Who is behind the tool and how to reach us is set out on the about us page.

Woodlands Administration · sole trader (eenmanszaak) · Bloemendaal · KVK 94490171 · VAT ID NL005086896B69 · support@zelfjaarrekening.nl · +31 6 40896348

2. What the product is — and what it is not

We supply software that helps you prepare annual accounts step by step and generate the accompanying PDFs. We expressly do not provide accountancy services: no audit, no review, no compilation and no tax or legal advice. The texts and calculations in the tool are general in nature and not tailored to your situation.

The responsibility for the accuracy and completeness of the annual accounts, for adopting and signing them on time and for filing them with KVK remains entirely with you.

3. Account

You create an account with your email address. You are responsible yourself for the accuracy of the data you enter and for keeping your login details secret. If you suspect misuse, report it immediately via support@zelfjaarrekening.nl.

4. Price and payment

You pay once per financial year. The price is € 49.95 excluding VAT; for a private customer 21% VAT is added, € 60.44 in total. There is no subscription and there are no recurring costs. Payments are processed via Stripe; we do not receive your payment card details.

5. Delivery and right of withdrawal

After a successful payment you immediately get access to the final files and can download them. Because this is digital content that is delivered immediately, we ask you to confirm two things separately before paying: that you want us to deliver the files immediately, and that you understand that you can therefore no longer rely on your statutory 14-day cooling-off period (article 6:230p Dutch Civil Code). Without that confirmation the payment will not go through, and your cooling-off period remains.

You can complete and view the annual accounts in full before paying, with a watermark in the preview. You only pay at the moment that you want to download the final documents.

Because the files are prepared personally for you and cannot be resold, we cannot reverse a payment after download. Is there an error in the documents that we can correct? Then we correct it and deliver a new version free of charge — as often as needed, at no extra cost. You can rely on this arrangement for up to 12 months after the download by emailing support@zelfjaarrekening.nl.

6. Availability

We do our best to keep the service continuously available, but we do not guarantee it. Maintenance, failures at our suppliers or measures we take for security reasons can interrupt the service temporarily. Your data is preserved during that time.

7. Liability

We are not liable for damage arising from errors or omissions in the annual accounts or in the other generated documents, from not filing or filing late with KVK, from not applying or incorrectly applying laws and regulations, or from decisions you take on the basis of the tool. Our liability is in all cases limited to the amount you paid for the financial year concerned, and in any event to the maximum permitted by law. Mandatory law remains applicable.

8. Intellectual property

The tool, the texts, the design and the source code are ours. You receive a non-transferable right to use the tool for your own business. The documents you create with the tool — the annual accounts and the publication documents — are yours.

9. Complaints and support

You can email complaints to support@zelfjaarrekening.nl. We respond within 5 working days. If we cannot resolve it together, you can submit the dispute to the competent Dutch court.

10. Governing law and changes

Dutch law applies to these terms and conditions. We may change these terms and conditions; the version that applies is the version that was on this website at the time of your purchase. Changes with retroactive effect are not possible.
